What's New at Benhaven?

Click here to view a summary of the article, and here to see the press release. We are, of course, honored and thrilled to be included in such dynamic company. Our understanding is that the focus of the magazine article is on Benahven's Learning Network, although all of our programs and operations were reviewed as part of the judging. Congratulations to Larry, who interfaced with the Fast Company editors during the evaluation period, as well as to the program staff, who do the work that got their attention. This is actually the second award that Benhaven has won this year. In the spring and summer of 2003, Benhaven participated in a business-plan competiton run by the Yale School of Management, and sponsored by the Goldman Sachs Foundation and the Pew Charitable Trusts. Our entry was for Benhaven's Learning Network. We earned a second prize, which was one of only eight prizes awarded among over 600 organizations that participated in the competiton.
